3 Days Leduomanyin Glacier Trek in Mt. Konka

Day 1: Chengdu-Kangding-Gexi Grassland-Red Stone-Liangcha River BC

Today morning we will meet at the designated pick-up location in Chengdu at around 7:30am and drive to Kangding, where we will have a short break (about 1hr) that you can have lunch and buy some food. Then continue to drive to Laoyulin Power Station and start to trek. We will trek along the Yulin River towards the mountains and pass by the Red Stone. Finally reach Liangcha River BC.

Drive: 250km, 4.5hrs

Trek: 10km, 4.5hrs

Meal: Dinner

Accommodation: Stone Room or Camp

Altitude: Kangding (2600m), Liangcha River BC (3750m)

Note:

1. Due to the early start, we suggest to book a hotel nearby our pick-up location.
2. You can bring some motion sickness pill just in case.
 

Day 2: Liangcha River BC-Lower Riwuqie Grassland-Upper Riwuqie BC-Glacier & Ice Lake Trek

After breakfast at camp, we will head towards Leduomanyin Glacier. During the trek, we will enjoy the highland creeks, wild yaks and special plateau sceneries. Trek all the way up to the Upper Riwuqie BC. Take some rest at the camp and then continue to the Leduomanyin Glacier and Ice Lake. Take your time to explore the mysterious glacier and lake. Later we will head back to Riwuqie BC.

Trek: 12km, 6-8hrs

Meal: Breakfast & Dinner

Accommodation: Stone Room or Camp

Altitude: Upper Riwuqie BC (4350m), Ice Lake (4600m)

Day 3: Upper Riwuqie BC-Kangding-Chengdu

After having breakfast at the camp, we will trek down all the way back. reaching Laoyulin Power Station at around 3-4pm. If you don't want to trek, you can also choose to ride horse (cost not included) going down. After reaching Kangding and drive back to Chengdu (about 5hrs drive). The drop-off location will be the same as pick-up location.

Trek: 18km, 6hrs

Drive: 250km, 4.5hrs

Meal: Breakfast

Altitude: Chengdu (500m)
