【News】Winter Policy for Tibet Trip--Free Entrance Tickets!!!

Last updated:Nov 18,2022; By: Alice; Hits: 90

Many people take Tibet as a must-visit-destination once in a lifetime.

Winter Policy

Winter Policy has been implemented for 2 years and this will be the 3rd year. In order to invite more travelers from all over the world to Tibet:

1. All the 3A national sites and above (except for monasteries): FREE OF CHARGE

2. All the national sites below 3A or non-national A level sites: HALF OF OFF-SEASON PRICE

Duration:2019/10/15-2020/03/15

Advantages of Winter Travel

1. Less Crowds

Winter enjoys fewer travelers due to the cool weather. However, please do not be intimidated by the temperature as it's not as freezing as you imagine. Due to the highland climate, it's actually sunny in daytime and the temperature will drop dramatically at night. When traveling in winter, you don't see massive crowds and there is no time rush.

2. Clearer Visibility of Everest

When in winter, Tibet has less rain and fewer clouds which gives a superb visibility of the mountains, especially the Everest Base Camp. When we stay overnight at the base camp, you will enjoy astonishing sunset and sunrise next day morning.

3. Cheaper Price

The cost of travel drops in winter. Hotels, vehicles, flight tickets, train tickets and even food are cheaper than that in peak season. Thanks to the Winter Policy, now we can save additional 15-80 USD depending on the travel route you choose.

Tibet

Tibet, the "Roof of the World", has magic attraction for travelers (home and abroad) for hundreds years.

The awe-inspiring plateau landscape, the overwhelming devoted religion, the welcoming and friendly Tibetan people, the long-standing customs and tradition will take you into a utterly new world which you can never imagine before.

Once stepping on the land of Tibet, you will enter one of the most isolated places in the world. Get ready for your mysterious trip NOW!

Everest Base Camp

At an elevation of 8,848.13 meters, Mt. Everest is the main peak of the Himalayas. This world’s No. 1 peak rises high on the border of China and Nepal.

Commanding reverence from fellow giant peaks nearby, Mount Everest is shaped just like a majestic pyramid propping up the sky for the Earth.

If you do the Everest trip, we will have 1 night at Everest Base Camp, which is definitely the highlight of your Tibet trip!
