Sichuan-Italy

On March 11, experts and medical workers from Sichuan West China Hospital and the Sichuan Disease Prevention and Control Center  set off for Italy with relief supplies.

Now, in terms of the incidence rate, Italy has surpassed Guangdong and Henan, only second to Hubei Province. The death rate is 5%, the highest in the world, and the health system is overwhelmed.

In response to the new outbreak, the Italian government on March 10 imposed a nationwide "lockdown", asking people to stay at home. In recent days, Italians have launched a variety of interactive activities, including the 18:00 Balcony Concert, to encourage each other.

Guangdong-Iraq

These experts, mainly from Guangzhou Medical University, where academician Zhong Nanshan works, flew from Guangzhou to Baghdad with medical supplies and equipment such as nucleic acid testing kits to support Iraq in preventing and controlling the COVID-19.

Shanghai-Iran

Iran, a strategic partner of China, which is worst hit by the outbreak, sees a rapid increase in new confirmed cases every day.

For Iran, China sent a team of Shanghai experts.

On Feb. 26, the Chinese embassy in Iran and a Chinese company in Iran donated 5,000 New Coronavirus Nucleic Acid Testing Kit to Iran.

Five experts from the China Red Cross arrived in Iran on Feb. 28, along with 900 kilograms of medical supplies.

Jiangsu - Pakistan

The photo above shows the medical team of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Suzhou University which is prepared to rush to Pakistan.

Japan

After donating a batch of virus detection kits to Japan, Chinese government donated 5,000 sets of protective clothing and 100,000 masks to Japan.

The first two batches of supplies arrived in Tokyo on Feb. 27 and 28.

South Korea

Chinese government has provided 100,000 N95 masks, one million surgical masks, 10,000 protective clothing and 50,000 test kits to South Korea.

Until 11:01 March. 16, 81,078 cases of novel coronavirus were confirmed in China, among which 3218 died, and 67,864 were cured and discharged. There are still 134 suspected cases.

87,459 cases of novel coronavirus were confirmed in the world, among which 3277 died, and 8928 were cured and discharged.
