On February 4, a medical couple met in the corridor of the isolation ward at Shaoxing People's Hospital in Zhejiang province.
It took them some time to recognize each other as they are all covered by the medical suits.
After confirming the identification, they hugged each other tightly for about 20 seconds and went back to their work.
Miss
The doctor's wife brought their 30-day baby to meet his husband who cannot go home due to the virus.
Meet
The husband is a traffic policeman and the wife is a nurse in the hospital.
They had a brief meet through the glass and then returned to their posts.
Side by Side
Tu Shengjin and Cao Shan, a medical couple from Jinjintan Hospital in Wuhan, have been working in different floors since the outbreak.
Promise
Liu Guangyao and Qiao Bing, a couple from the Third People's Hospital of Henan Province, all signed up to support Wuhan.
"After we come back, I will marry you", this was the promise made by Liu Guangyao before departure.
Solicitude
Bai Yuming and his wife Ye Zi are all medical staff in Dezhou Second People's Hospital.
The husband was working in the isolation ward, who had no time to go home. Ye Zi couldn't help crying when sending the clothes to the hospital so he could change.
Farewell
Wu Lingling, a nurse at the Fengxian District Central Hospital in Shanghai, said goodbye to her husband, Zhao Kun, in a carriage at Shanghai South Railway Station on Jan. 27 as she was heading to Wuhan.
News of the NCP
Until 10:23 Feb. 14, 63,932 cases of novel coronavirus were confirmed in China, among which 1489 died, and 7028 were cured and discharged. There are still 10109 suspected cases.
