If you are planning to travel abroad, please do take some medicines with you to cope with unexpected situations just in case. Below are some tips and suggestion for your reference when packing your bags!
Medicine to prevent and lessen high altitude s ickness, such as Diamox if you are doing the trekking tour in remote areas.
Medicine for cold, headache, stomachache, diarrhea, nausea, insect bite, etc. such as Aspirin, Diphenoxylate, and Prochlorperazine.
Band-aids or other wound dressings.
Nasal ointment, nasal sprays and throat lozenges if you are sensitive to dry, chilly or freezing weather conditions.
Multivitamins.
Here are some tips to make sure you have your health covered before leaving as well!
1. Check Your Health Insurance: Before you go abroad, learn what medical services your health insurance will cover overseas.
2. Considering Purchasing Travel Health Insurance: If you travel with us, we will buy the Travel Accident Insurance for you. This insurance is compulsory but it only includes the accidents (like car accident) happened during the trip. It’s highly suggested that you buy another insurance (for example high altitude sickness) in your home country as well.
3. Bring a letter from your doctor if you are being treated for a chronic condition, listing your diagnosis and current medications (including the generic names for the drugs and dosage, since brand names vary by country).
4. Bring an ample supply of medication to cover you for your trip, and if possible, a few extra days in case there are delays.
5. Keep medications in their original, labeled containers.
we’ll reply you in 24 hours!
